Cornerstones of TrustAnnual Cornerstones of Trust Conference – Weathering the Storm at Crown Plaza Hotel in Foster City.
Project managers are in a unique position to influence the discussion around the security of their development and deployment projects and to help ensure that they don't lead to the next wave of breaches and loss. By understanding the nature of the threats and mitigations that impact IT solutions, PMs can ensure that the right questions are asked throughout the project lifecycle and the appropriate responsibilities are assigned. Every day, it seems, there are reports in the media of vast numbers of credit cards being stolen, social security numbers being mislaid, or websites being defaced or taken offline. What may surprise you is that what the media reports is just the tip of the iceberg. Viruses, security breaches or any one of a list of other ‘bad things’ happen every day across the world, all due to issues with the security of software or hardware. Security is a timely subject, especially in today's high tech digital world. Presentation by Andy Cottrell
