April 20-24, 2009
Moscone Center, San Francisco
Mark Kadrich is participating in a panel on Monday, April 20th from 1:15 to 2:30 entitled "The Ghosts of Security Past, Present, and Future". It was once said "there is nothing worse than a well enforced bad rule." This session will discuss the impact of successful (or failed) disruptive technology on security as well as the subsequent resulting legislation and its ultimate impact on your business. The examples and discussion provided will aide experienced information security professionals with insight into changes that may impact their employers' interests, as well as their own careers. This session moves away from the tactical technology and examines strategic examples and considerations for this session. The panel is moderated by Michael Angelo of NetIQ.
Mark Kadrich is also moderating a Research Revealed (RR) track with Adam Shostack titled "Data Sources, Methods and Challenges" Wednesday, April 22 at 9:10AM.
