The Security Consortium, a leader in security services and consulting, today announced that it has appointed Dan Corcoran as VP, Technology Solutions, effective immediately.

Dan will head up TSC's council of Trusted Advisors; the team of senior consulting staff who lead and supervise client projects and engagements.

Dan has over 25 years of experience in operations, engineering, development and management. As the Director of Information Security at Electronic Arts he was responsible for information security strategy, risk assessment, security policy, compliance oversight, Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, research and development, forensic investigations, and disaster recovery planning. At Equifax Secure, where he was Chief Scientist for Directory and Security Services, he was responsible for the development, deployment, and operation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions provided on behalf of Fortune 100 companies.

Dan has also held positions such as a Consulting Principal and Manager of Network Design at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Director of Security at VeriSign and he led Information Security & IT Risk Management at Silicon Valley Bank. He has a Bachelor's of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico and a graduate certificate in Instructional Technology from Florida State University.
